Do you find yourself thinking, "This isn't the way my story was supposed to go."? Welcome to the Austin Counseling Center for Women and Families. Hello, I’m Dr. Julianne Massimo, LPCC-S, PMH-C. I want to welcome you in taking the first step to feeling more like yourself, or the you you'd like to become. The Austin Counseling Center was established in Fairlawn, Ohio to bring comprehensive mental health services that include issues related to reproductive health including pregnancy loss, infertility, postpartum depression and other perinatal mood disorders and changing family/relationship roles.
At the ACCWF, we work with individuals across the lifespan, from teens to seniors, to help cope with grief, depression, anxiety, and other mental health concerns while trying to balance life and all of its challenges Women certainly are not the only ones who experience distress, and the ACCWF also supports men and gender-expansive individuals.
My approach to therapy is Integrative and uses evidence-based and trauma-informed treatments including IPT, CBT, Humanistic, and Relational therapy approaches. The Austin Counseling Center serves adults and teens of all abilities, and is inclusive and LGBTQ+ affirming. It’s never too late to write a new story of who you are and how your life will go
