I often find that we can put such pressure on ourselves to "keep it all together" or even be "perfect." But that can be a heavy load to carry. If you're looking for a hand, maybe I can help. Specifically, I offer therapy with adults and older teens (16+) and enjoy working with a range of topics including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, perfectionism & OCD, eating & body image concerns, young adulthood, identity, and relationships. In addition, I have experience with exploring spiritual/religious concerns if a client wants to, often including topics of religious trauma, faith deconstruction/questioning, or moral scrupulosity.
In therapy, I hope to offer an affirming, nonjudgmental space to practice shifts from being hard on ourselves toward being kind to ourselves. I take an integrative approach prioritizing the therapeutic relationship while drawing on elements of Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Mindful Self-Compassion, therapeutic writing, narrative therapy, and more.
