Building a path to a stronger future may begin with taking the step into social-emotional wellbeing. I create a supportive, non judgmental environment with the understanding that everyone may need something different to feel safe in the therapeutic setting. My goal is to help others feel empowered and recognize the potential they have within themselves. I help individuals understand the connections between their history, relationships, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, to identify areas of need and find the way to healing.
I use a combination of strength-based, solution focused, cognitive behavioral, and mindfulness approaches/techniques in sessions. This allows individuals to gain coping strategies and an understanding of how they can achieve their wellness goals.
I have many years experience working with at-risk populations, adolescents with disabilities, families, and those struggling with anxiety and depression.
