I have been in practice for 18 years and work with a diverse cultural and age group. I specialize in anxiety, depression, self-esteem and relationship concerns, new and old trauma, existential and daily life struggles and medical, surgical and pain conditions. I work with those going through difficult times as well as those who are seeking personal growth and purpose in life. I value understanding people from their experiences in order to provide the tools needed to be comfortable within yourself and to achieve your goals.
My focus is on understanding the core of people's concerns, while treating the unwanted symptoms at the same time. I use insight and practical tools to achieve lasting and meaningful relief and growth. I incorporate breathing exercises and clinical hypnosis when appropriate. I tailor the therapy based on what one needs to grow, and emphasize collaboration.
As an Asian-American woman, I believe our cultural experiences make us uniquely special. I value understanding you from your shoes, no matter your background or reason for therapy. My goal is to work with you, to empower you, and to provide you the insight/tools to live the life you want. I welcome a chat to see if I am a good fit for you.
