We carry with us stories and patterns that have likely served us in the past, but may no longer serve us. This can exacerbate symptoms of anxiety, depression or other mental health symptoms. Exploring and recognizing, with gentleness, how these patterns have become detrimental, gives us the freedom to choose what themes we insert in our life, and what we no longer have space for. I am excited by the opportunity to explore with individuals, couples and polycules the way in which they can increase their intimacy, empowerment, and sense of individuality by exploring and challenging barriers and patterns that limit exploration.
As a Sex-Positive Psychotherapist, I am kink aware and polyamory affirmative, examining themes relevant to alternative gender identity and sexual expression. I acknowledge the possibility of unique barriers to BIPOC in accessing alternative identities, and I believe Black lives matter.
I encourage therapeutic space for individualized experiences among people of differing abilities, identities, cultures and kinks, and recognize how this contributes to the whole person.
