I am dedicated to making the most of each session with my clients and value your choice to be in this journey. I strive to develop a respectful and trusting relationship creating a strong base for my client's journey, no matter what their age, working with young preschool-age children through adults. Making the decision to open your child, yourself or your family up to counseling takes courage! You will get a genuine and professional experience with each session as I view our work as collaborative toward change. I have additional training in trauma therapy, DBT, CBT, and I am a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor.
I specialize in working with adults struggling with relationships, parenting, trauma, grief and family issues viewing our lives from a systemic lens. As a registered play therapist, I specialize in working with young children through adolescents. As a licensed School Counselor, I offer collaboration with school personnel to advocate for my clients.
CORE Counseling and Consulting offers a welcoming environment striving to make each client feel comfortable. Knowing the struggle some parents have getting their children to counseling, I designed our office with the goal of making even the youngest client comfortable. I also like to incorporate yoga, art, music and animal assisted therapy in my work.
