My approach to therapy focuses on collaboration and radical genuineness towards you and what brought you to therapy. I tend to use an "us against the problem" mentality to aid in getting to root causes of what is leading to a behavior or symptom that is causing distress or unhappiness.
I have found that working from a Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) perspective and theory can help you accept certain things that have happened, and will happen in your life, while also working towards making changes that can lead you to your best self. I also provide clinical supervision.
