In therapy, we aim to identify and work with your feelings, thoughts, and behaviors in order to create meaningful understanding of self and others, and to support you to live a happier, healthier, and more fulfilling life.
I have over 15 years experience working in mental health supporting individuals, couples, families, and groups, to address and work on recovery from symptoms of trauma and oppression. I encourage clients to learn and use skills from cognitive-behavioral, DBT, humanistic, and multicultural approaches in social work, psychology, and psychiatric rehabilitation.
After intake, we will decide if we are a good fit for therapist and client collaboration. My role is to provide emotional space and tools for you to reflect on significant events, decisions, life stressors. We may problem solve and develop action steps to work toward achieving your desired outcomes. I speak English, Cantonese, Mandarin, and/or Taishanese.
