I am a New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) trained in Gestalt and body psychotherapy. Believing that the body holds the wisdom to heal itself, my practice combines talk therapy with various forms of energy work to facilitate awareness around malfunctioning energy patterns both in the body and mind. Certifications include Gestalt Therapy, NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM), Integral Somatic Psychotherapy, Biodynamic Cranial Sacral Therapy, Internal Family Systems informed and yoga.
Often, a client is frozen in trauma, either internally or externally induced, and their system deregulates, becoming "offline." Over time, patterns get solidified, and a way into healing can be evasive. Guiding choices away from polarities and towards the center brings the system back "online" where there is balance and health.
My work reconnects disenfranchised parts with the whole so individuals can live fuller, more authentic lives. This work is suited to clients feeling stuck and presenting with anxiety, depression, relational issues, panic disorders, and feeling "lost."
