Summer every other week openings. If you or your child are struggling with feelings of depression, anxiety, feeling misunderstood, struggling with a loss or having conflict in a relationship, I would be honored to help you on your healing journey! Sessions are individualized; tailored to your goals. I use supportive reflection and can use CBT, provide trauma informed care, studied Gottman and many other therapeutic approaches. I am also an Art Therapy Practitioner and specialize in memorial art (memorial bookmark, magnets, buttons, painted rocks, picture frames). I hope therapy is a positive empowering chapter in clients' lives.
I'm a non-judgmental supportive strength-based therapist. As a licensed social worker, I have the education, knowledge, credentials as do all therapists. What makes me unique as a therapist is my own lived expertise, knowledge, experience taking my own healing journey having to learn new coping skills and manage my own mental health struggles.
I'm a writer with themes around improving mental health at www.lulu.com/spotlight/jkviers. I started a suicide prevention non-profit Share Hope through Art. www.sharehopeart.com. I went back to being a therapist, workshop/ group facilitator as a way to help prevent suicides and help those facing mental health struggles overcome them.
