I hold a deep passion for helping people improve their lives and understand the importance of effective treatment. My interest in becoming a therapist stems from my own experiences with trauma and witnessing mental health struggles within my family. This has made me particularly sensitive to people with similar issues. At NOCD, my team and I specialize in providing evidence-based treatment for OCD. Our deep understanding of the nuances of OCD enables us to properly diagnose and treat it. Additionally, we have received training in Exposure Response and Prevention Therapy (ERP)—the gold standard treatment for OCD.
When you start with NOCD, you’ll either work with me or be paired with one of my colleagues based on your preference and availability. We’ll get to know you and create a personalized treatment plan to help you achieve your goals. Plus, we offer support between sessions through direct messaging and a community of peers with OCD, ensuring you never feel alone.
Therapy is hard work, and ERP is no different. The first session can be especially challenging, but I will take the time to build a strong connection with you. Together, we will find a way to make it work.
