As a licensed psychologist, I view therapy as a collaborative process in which I use my clinical skills to help clients achieve their goals. Whether your issues include depression, anxiety, insomnia, stress management, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, or coping with chronic medical diagnoses, I can work with you to improve your mood and your ability to cope effectively. As a health psychologist, I am interested in helping people increase their physical and emotional well-being and promote heathy lifestyle changes. My specialty is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), but I use other therapy styles based on clients’ needs.
I received my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and Health Psychology from the University of Miami (UM). Prior to starting my own private practice, I worked as a clinical psychologist at UM for over 21 years. As a faculty member and Assistant Director of the UM Psychological Services Center, I treated many clients and supervised numerous graduate students.
