Do you feel like your life is out of control or that you get angry or cry at the smallest things? Are you struggling to sleep because your mind won't shut off? Do any of these words resonate with your current circumstances: end of life stress, conflict due to your sexual orientation, addiction, or trauma? If you are facing challenges that are preventing you from living your life to the fullest, the good news is that you don't have to face them alone. There is support available for you to regain control of life, find happiness, and begin living each moment with renewed purpose.
I began working in the mental health and addictions field in 1994. I am now a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW) and Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor (LCAC). Additionally, I have a Masters in Aging which gives me great insight to the challenges faced by older adults, and I am heavily involved with the LGBTQ community in Wichita.
I understand that life usually doesn't turn out the way we imagined it when we were kids dreaming about our futures. I firmly believe in the capacity of an individual to overcome and heal from the worst of circumstances when they have the right support in their life. Allow me to be that support you deserve while you work to heal and find your new happiness.
