Working in the mental health field for the past 11 years, I have had the pleasure of engaging with a multitude of individuals. Serving as a therapist, director of an adult program, and a case manager, I have been able to develop my expertise assisting individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, victims of domestic violence, individuals experiencing life transitions, struggles with interpersonal conflicts, and self-esteem concerns. Rooted from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy background, I primarily employ CBT, REBT, & DBT modalities into my practice while incorporating essential components of person-centered therapy.
Counseling with me includes a thorough intake and assessment. I value capturing and exploring the different dimensions of life, allowing me to conceptualize past and present events that may be contributing to current concerns.
Therapy can be an overwhelming word. From what we hear from our environment we may feel hesitant in reaching out and receiving help. I believe in fostering a safe space where individuals can feel secure about sharing their concerns, free from judgement.
