My name is Juan C. Mendoza, I am a licensed Marriage and Family therapist, 116475, my approach to therapy is client centered, and my areas of practice include but are not limited to trauma, parenting, behaviorism, anxiety, and depression. I am trained in CBT, TFCBT, MAP, Triple P, and CPP. I have tons of experience working with parents and their children helping resolve common behavior problems. I also am comfortable working with children and adolescents with ADHD, anxiety, depression, and other mental health problems. I also work with adults with anxiety, depression, and parenting problems.
I am client centered in nature, but I also utilize other approaches such as CBT to help with depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, parenting, etc.
I am client centered; thus, I meet the client where he or she is at. I like to work with my client's side by side supporting every step of the way. I like to create an environment where they feel safe, and I ensure they know that I will do my best to help them in their journey they will take in our sessions.
