Life can be challenging and stressful. Often our busy life prevents us from caring for ourselves. Psychotherapy is a space to address your needs and concerns and build self-harmony. In a safe and trusting relationship, we will identify strengths and unearth resiliency while working on your struggles. In therapy, I tailor my therapeutic approach to your needs and pay attention to your context (environment, spirituality, culture, and multiple identities).
Some of my special interests include: trauma/PTSD, depression, anxiety, health issues (e.g., cancer, autoimmune diseases, rare illness, chronic pain, etc.), reproductive trauma (e.g., infertility, miscarriage, & birth trauma), cultural/racial concerns, gender identify, and sexual orientation.
Specifically, I integrate the principals/interventions of Mindfulness and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy to address trauma-related challenges & facilitate healing. I am trained in multicultural counseling and can offer culturally responsive therapy.
