I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) working with clients via telehealth throughout the state of NY. I work with teenagers and adults, individuals, couples, and families specializing in Anxiety, Depression, Life Changes, and Relationship difficulties. I use behavioral interventions, therapies of paradox, and solution-focused supportive processing to help clients make progress toward their goals. My approach has been most helpful for teenagers, adults, and couples committed to making changes but struggling to come out of old patterns, define the new path, and embrace the necessary discomfort of change.
Anxiety, Depression, and Relational Stress are often indicators we need to change parts of ourselves and/or our environment. I work to help clients understand themselves more clearly and build the skills and courage to attend to their changes.
My communication style is active, compassionate, and encouraging. My clients feel comfortable talking about everything knowing their victories will be celebrated and their intimacies regarded with respectful care.
