Trauma Recovery Group
Appropriate for adult women* who have experienced relational trauma. In this group, clients consider strategies that will help them grow in their capacity to cope with traumatic experiences. Members collaborate with other survivors and receive feedback about their experiences. Goals are to relieve shame, reduce isolation, promote mastery & empowerment, model healthy relationships, & provide a sense of hope for the future. *Although we recognize the need and often receive requests about male participants, the current group will only include women survivors. ***Please email joy@attunednc.com to be placed on the waiting list for future groups.

Trauma Informed Prep for Childbirth Support Group
Pregnancy after trauma & loss brings with it concerns that other expecting parents may not face. This group will address specific fears which may arise after trauma & loss. It will include childbirth education as well as time for sharing with & supporting other participants. Couples or individuals are welcome to register. General goals are to reduce isolation, identify special concerns related to giving birth after trauma/loss, promote empowerment for making decisions during labor, learn coping skills & comfort measures to utilize during labor, and provide a sense of hope for facing labor & birth. **Please email joy@attunednc.com to be added to wait list for future groups. .
