Life comes in various forms of physical and psychological pain. It is my goal to listen and understand where you are with your pain. It is an honor to provide compassionate support to those who are courageous enough to seek guidance on their journey to heal that pain. If you feel that you are ready for a change, maybe you just need some understanding and my goal is to support you in going beyond the fears and the limiting beliefs and create the life you want to live.
My training is in trauma-focused treatments, CBT, DBT and ACT. I also use EMDR and the AIP Model to guide and enhance our work. I have a specialty in Trauma, Abuse, and Deprivation. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist – Individual & Family. I specialize in trauma, intergenerational trauma, deprivation, and issues related to Deafness/Coda.
I respect each client's individual needs and expectations and take a collaborative approach to therapy. I come from a marginalized community, the Deaf community, and believe my experience allowed for patience and understanding to grow. In my community, we are all connected by common experience.
