Do you struggle with anxiety, depression, grief, or a challenging relationship that affects your day-to-day life, relationships, or your ability to function? Do you feel exhausted, overwhelmed, or frustrated by just getting through the day or answering emails, texts, or calls? Do you wonder if life could be better? Thank you for reaching out for support! I take a collaborative and wellness-based approach to counseling that uses my client’s strengths and expertise as we work together to identify problem areas getting in the way of their relational, spiritual, academic, or professional values and goals.
For over 15 years, I've used my professional, academic, and human experience to connect with clients. I work with individuals, couples, and groups of most ages. I am a first-generation American who is fluent in three languages. My worldview is often influenced by metaphor and spirituality and is expressed sometimes in session by sharing proverbs and songs.
My passion is to help my clients overcome their struggles and pain and express themselves through their true voice. Thank you for taking the first steps on your journey to wellness and wholeness. I would be blessed and privileged to walk alongside you through this journey. "Kwakya kwa mundu ni vala wamukila" (Kikamba proverb) "My morning is when I wake up".
