I am a Limited License Master of Social Work clinician who specializes in seeing children ages 4-17. I am located in Irwin Counseling Services in Downtown Jackson. I have a person-centered approach to ensure every child’s unique mental health needs are being met in a safe space.
My background includes specialized training for treatment of PTSD and trauma symptoms through trauma-focused and mindfulness based approaches. I have worked with children experiencing many therapeutic needs like depression, anxiety, communication difficulties, anger issues, LGBTQ+ issues, ADHD, and cognitive impairments.
I have experience working in child welfare with a certificate in Evidence Based Trauma Treatment from MSU and a Child Welfare Endorsement from SAU. I bring a development and trauma-informed perspective into the therapy room where we mix together fun and emotional work. Please reach out if you think I would be a good fit to work with your child!
