It's no surprise life can feel overwhelming at times, making it harder to do even the simplest of things. And yet you're here! We manage to get through it, either by luck, grit, will power, or sheer determination. But sometimes, the pressures from society, culture, expectations...etc can really bog us down. We all deserve peace, safety, and belonging, and sometimes, we might need a helping hand to get us "unstuck." I'm an integrative therapist, meaning I tailor my approach to best fit your needs. In addition to specialized training with trauma, I often incorporate mindfulness, acceptance/compassion, skills building, and insight building. At the core of every therapy relationship is trust, and I prioritize creating a safe, empathic, collaborative working relationship.
I'm committed to providing multiculturally-informed and evidence-based care. My experiences as a queer, POC, latino, cis-male have shaped my personal and professional values and philosophies, which come with me into every relationship.
