I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) therapist with extensive experience in working with children/adolescents, and families with a myriad of problems and issues. I have experience working in the fields of child welfare, social services in the area of domestic violence, outpatient mental health services, and schools. My clinical experience is in providing individual, family, and group therapy, advocacy, and linkages to community resources. I am prepare to navigate the human condition which sometimes consists of challenges such as: depression, anxiety, trauma, posttraumatic distress disorder, ADHD, grief and loss, anger management, and mood disorders to name a few.
My life, education, and work experiences have thought me different avenues to provide a supportive therapeutic environment that facilitates adjustment and personal grow. I am also Certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EDMR) and trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
