I utilize Internal Family Systems (IFS) as a framework to explore and create harmony among the various parts of self. I also use an integration of Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness. I am under the direction of Daron Elam, LPC and the supervision of Susan Marshall, LPC, CPCS.

I strive to foster the mindset of “observe, not absorb.” Our feelings, thoughts, and experiences are parts of us, but not our entire self. When parts of us feel uncomfortable, it often feels overwhelming to acknowledge them. My hope in the therapeutic process is that you ultimately observe your various parts from a place of compassion and acceptance.
