I have worked extensively with clients from all walks of life, from professionals to full-time parents, and have years of experience with clients struggling with relationships, parenting, substance use & other mental health issues. I also enjoy working with teens/young adults as they navigate an often chaotic & isolating stage, and helping clients reach their potential through performance coaching(sports psych applied elsewhere) & working with those struggling with anxiety, depression, confidence, or discovering passion/direction in life. I like people, and creating authentic connections at work. My ideal client is probably you!
I use a variety of approaches: Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT); Motivational Interviewing; Mind Body Bridging & others to help clients identify & explore the possibility of change within themselves, while supporting them throughout the process.
I love to nerd out on psychology, but you won't find me using a lot of technical lingo or words like “psychotherapy." Why? To me, it's important to be a real person; a human being who can hear & relate to another. I care a lot about meeting my clients where they are & helping them to overcome obstacles standing in the way of creating a rich, meaningful life.
