My goal is to provide you with a safe and confidential space to explore past and present difficulties in your life. This may be an immediate life crisis you are experiencing, such as a bereavement or other loss, or perhaps you have this feeling that you want to be or to achieve more, or it may be longer standing issues. I am active in my approach and engage with my clients. I listen and help understand how past experiences or current difficulties may be affecting your life, but I also talk with you on steps that can be taken to move forward in your life.
Whether it's our work, our relationships or our place in the world we often feel like we should be in a different, better place. My approach is to draw on the theories and practices of different therapeutic modalities, which helps me to take account of clients’ different needs and personal styles.
As Director of The Village Institute for Psychotherapy, I instill the idea of active, compassionate growth-minded therapy into all of the other therapists that I supervise on the TVI team. It is a priviledge to work with and to mentor them as it is a priviledge to work with you. Please reach out to me here, or at www.joshjonas.com www.villageinstitute.com
