I work with clients who struggle with anxiety, self-understanding, and communication. While I generally focus on older teens, young adults, and couples, I also work with those older or younger down to age 12. Often clients aren't sure what their goals are or aren't sure how to begin. I create a safe and supportive space to speak freely so that self understanding can can grow and anxiety can diminish.
I operate mostly using Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand what their options are, learn how to navigate intimidating situations/feelings, and begin to embrace the growth that leads to their desired goals. I help clients examine helpful thought processes and compare them to unhelpful ones so that they can choose what's best for them.
Our stories often don't make sense until we have a safe place to tell them. From the moment you walk in the room, my desire is to create a space where you can speak freely and begin to understand your past and future journey.
