“Peaceful are the empowered.” The focus of my practice is to empower individuals and families struggling with many of life's problems. Whether it is coping with COVID or over exposure to the media; dealing with stress from work, school, or a relationship; coping with an illness; or struggling with an addiction, life's problems can seem overwhelming and even debilitating at times. The good news is we hold the answers to our struggles, and can find them if given the opportunity to talk them out in a safe and judgment free environment.
I offer a private, confidential, and judgement-free safe environment to discuss the problems and issues affecting your life. I use a strengths based, humanistic approach combined with motivational interviewing, CBT, and solution focused therapy to try to help you resolve your issues. Many clients find their solutions in 6-8 sessions.
Many times people hold off on seeking help and treatment out of fear of being judged, misunderstood, their problems are not important, or they are not sure therapy will help. But given a safe and supportive environment to openly discuss their issues people gain a different perspective and find a way to harness the strength they already possess.
