I remember when I finally heard the words, "You’re allowed to feel what you feel" from a friend. A weight was lifted off my shoulders, I felt connected, I was whole. I carry this spirit to understand, accept, and support any client and their experiences as they are. Every person is a complex collection of different experiences, beliefs, hurts, culture, relationships, emotions, thoughts, and more. I will approach you as a whole person, with a goal to meet you where are, and work alongside you to help you achieve the goals you have come to counseling hoping to achieve, with the emotional safety and respect you deserve.
I enjoy working with couples and families to support them get through difficult times. I provide a safe space so my clients can share their pain, thoughts, and feelings without the threat of judgment, and work towards change that feels right to them. I have experience working with a range of issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues
