Hello my name is Joe Monteleone. I'm a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and Licensed Mental Health Counselor. My job is to give you tools which will enable you to be a driver rather than a passenger on the road of life. I offer Video sessions on either the Headway or Better Help telehealth platforms. I offer day, evening, and some Saturday appointments. My dream is to help you realize yours.
I am a brief therapist. If you are looking for someone to process every bad thing that ever happened to you in your life, want to discover who you are, or just grow as a person, I'm not your therapist. I often with people with problems like anxiety, depression, or relationship issues. If you don't know why you are coming to therapy, I won't know either.
Again, I am a brief therapist (usually 6-8 sessions) . I utilize Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Imago Relationship Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and other techniques, served up with a generous helping of humor. Often people have problems because they take themselves and life too seriously.
