I believe anyone can change with the desire to want to change. I view therapy as a partnership between client and therapist, working together to help you understand yourself on a deeper level. My role as your therapist is to guide you in your process of self-discovery, challenge those internal thoughts that can be defeating, and empower you to pursue your goals as you gain an increased understanding of your life and find solutions to your situations.
Some of my areas of specialty include anxiety, depression, body image, relationship and marital issues, childhood abuse, PTSD, substance use, trauma, and grief and loss. I have experience working with veterans, I have experience working with the LGBTQ community and autism spectrum.
My approach is Person-Centered in addition to Cognitive Behavior Therapy.
