Before becoming a therapist, I spent over a decade as a philosophy professor, teaching courses on existentialism and ethics. This background gives me a deep understanding of the complexities of human existence and needs, and I bring this insight into therapy, helping couples explore deeper issues impacting their lives and connection.
My approach to therapy is rooted in an existential-humanistic philosophy, which emphasizes the shared concerns and desires that drive us all. In our work together, I draw on a variety of therapeutic methods, including psychodynamic insights, the significance of family systems, and experiential and emotionally-focused approaches.
