My goal is to help you lead a richer, more meaningful life-one rooted in the values most important to you. No matter how serious your issues, there are steps you can take to gain a sense of control and wholeness.
I often use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), an evidence-based therapy with a proven track record for bringing about positive changes. ACT is particularly helpful when it comes to getting "unstuck," enabling you to move forward in life with a sense of clarity and confidence. I also emphasize mindfulness, which is closely related to ACT.
I provide EMDR therapy, based on the EMDRIA-approved training, to help my clients work through past trauma and/or current stressors. Through the use of guided eye movement and bilateral stimulation, EMDR is a powerful tool which typically resolves trauma issues much faster than standard talk therapy. I offer sessions both in-person and online.
