If our mind is at peace and we have satisfying and rewarding relationships, we tend to feel great! Mental well-being is about living life in accordance with your values. When your values and your actions don’t align, we often see psychological distress. This, along with the seemingly relentless pressure to present our best selves 100% of the time can lead to symptoms of anxiety/depression. Sometimes we need a little TLC. A space to slow down, be introspective, and discuss challenges.
Relational satisfaction, especially in intimate relationships is so important. Sex is a major part of intimate relationships and therefore, sexual wellness is an important part of life. When our sex lives are fulfilling, life in general feels pretty good. When sexual wellness is compromised it can have devastating effects both individually and relationally.
