Hello/Hola! I am a bilingual/bicultural (Spanish/English) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). I am also a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), Certified Grief Informed Professional (CGIP), and Board Certified – Telemental Health Provider (BC-TMH). I completed my Master of Science in Education with an emphasis in Counseling from Northern Illinois University (DeKalb), a Ph.D. in Community Psychology from National-Louis University, and a Master of Social Work (clinical) from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
I practice from the perspective that humans have the capacity to change by processing and understanding their everyday challenges which can lead to center themselves to make better life decisions.
