Unrushed, being accurately heard and responded to, you will gradually put together pieces of your own puzzle, leading to new insights and a sense of inner freedom.
Building a trusted therapeutic relationship is central to my approach: one that can become a powerful instrument for you to use in finding your way. New choices will arise in your mind, and become possible to test out, and revise, in your life. I can also help in a direct way with means to help with anxiety, to include mindfulness techniques.
I'm trained in various modalities: primarily psychoanalytically oriented psychotherapy, which recognizes and helps bring to light, early links to present issues. I'm also a long time meditator and teacher. I work differently, with different people, according to their needs and situation and have served hundreds of veterans suffering from military trauma.
