My ideal client is someone who doesn’t have all the answers. Let me explain, Many know the presenting problem bringing them to counseling. They can identify this is why I’m here, this is why I’m coming to you. What an ideal client of mine may not know is if someone will understand what there going through, that I will know exactly how to help, or that the I have any experience in what goes through their thoughts and how they feel at all. Maybe there’s a fear of invalidation, of being misunderstood, being rejudged. These are the buildings blocks in a therapeutic plan and healing journey!
My role in the therapeutic process is to acknowledge and help individuals be seen and heard while processing their experience. My specialities allow me to have an in depth knowledge of topic and prompts to help individuals look at things in new perspectives. I offer an empathic, supportive, and attentive process.
