I believe that we are the experts of our own experiences and work to ensure my clients feel safe and comfortable during sessions. I use a collaborative approach to goal setting, as healing can mean something different for everyone. My goal is to support you as you explore what that might mean for you.
I became a therapist because I wanted to be the person that I wished I had growing up: someone to be there to offer support, encouragement, and a listening ear when needed. I care deeply about clinical work and am dedicated to creating a more equitable world, in part, by removing barriers to therapy and combatting stigma associated with mental health.
Informed by trauma theory, mindfulness, CBT and ACT, I use an active and eclectic approach in session that offers structure and direction while creating space for the messiness that comes with the therapeutic process. I look forward to meeting you where you’re at and supporting you along your journey!
