I work from an Adlerian theoretical approach meaning that I like to look at the whole picture when treating a client. The environment you are in and your background play a significant part in your current struggles and I believe the only way to treat a client is to treat all of these components.
As a client, I will allow you to bring your concerns and goals into the therapy session. We will work together to find out what you would like to achieve. Think of me as the drivers ed teacher. You are at the wheel, but I have a brake pedal just in case things get out of hand.
