My clinical background is in diverse communities such as BIPOC, high acuity adolescence, at-promise youth, sex-trafficked youth, military families, LGBTQIA, and low/high income families. I specialize in working with individuals, couples, and families who have experienced complex trauma, depression, anxiety, guilt, shame, low self-esteem, and identity challenges.
I intentionally collaborate with you to shape your safe space in sessions to build insight, self-awareness, identity development, and think critically about how systems around impact you. My goal is to help you identify your triggers, manage your stressors, and increase a support community around you to live a life worth living.
My mission is to be an ear for those who are not heard, an advocate for those who are underrepresented, and help those overcome who never thought it was possible. As a Black woman therapist, I bring my whole self into the room and practice being self-aware and continue my own healing journey to increase my abilities to be attune with you and your emotions.
