I work primarily with adults and adolescents struggling with any combination of anxiety disorders, depression and bipolar disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and sexual dysfunction. I work best with people who are willing to make changes to get back into living their lives according to their personal values.
I specialize in helping people identify the impacts their struggles have on their relationships, work, leisure activities, and treatment of themselves. I encourage people to take action to in these areas that demonstrate the qualities they want to show to themselves and others rather than the distress they are experiencing.
I acknowledge that mental illness carries a stigma in this day and age. I strive greatly to provide validation, compassion, and normalizing to the people I see. Regardless of their background, people can expect a safe nonjudgmental space to create the changes they want to in their life.
