I am passionate about working with individuals who are hungry to learn about themselves. I help people facing a variety of obstacles, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, guilt, shame, grief, and stress around creativity and performance. My work is relational and trauma-informed. A relational approach involves understanding how the quality of your relationships shape your inner world. We will talk about what has and is happening in your life and how it effects what comes up in our sessions. A trauma-informed approach involves establishing safety and understanding symptoms as adaptations to threatening environments.
Each therapy hour brings new opportunity. I will help you make meaning of your inner world, your relationships, and your life experiences. We will explore how your unique narrative serves you and how or if it acts as a barrier to thoughts, feelings, and experiences that are difficult but essential to your personal growth and happiness.
I believe that therapy is more than cultivating insight, and is also about transforming how you feel, and how you relate to and understand yourself and others.
