I describe myself as a marriage and family therapist that specializes in addiction. I have worked in the field of substance abuse, providing group, individual and family counseling and have also worked in a number of couples with relationship challenges while in private practice. My goal is to provide a setting and relationship where you can feel safe to discuss your challenges and together search out solutions to removing blocks and barriers in your life that are preventing you from living to the fullest, whether in your personal life or relationships.
I specialize in providing solution/hope focused approaches to addressing life's challenges by identifying negative or destructive patterns of thinking and behavior that are preventing steps to freedom and a deeper connection to self and others.
It's my strong desire to see you experience freedom and joy and to journey through this process with you. I understand that seeking a counselor and meeting with them for the first time can be very intimidating and overwhelming.
