My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where you can explore your identity and heal from past traumas.
I utilize EMDR, a very effective therapy for changing unhelpful core beliefs and resolving trauma. I also utilize cognitive behavioral and psychodynamic approach. I am licensed for telehealth in North and South Carolina and do in person sessions in South Asheville.
Having benefited from therapy myself, I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the most powerful tool for healing. My long-term clients appreciate my warm yet direct approach, and I often incorporate humor into our sessions because I believe that "laughter is medicine"
