I help clients with a broad range of personal, relationship, occupational, and health issues. As a Psychologist and a LMFT, I work with individuals and couples. With 10 years of post-Masters Degree education and over 100 Continuing Education courses, I draw upon an array of therapeutic approaches, broad and substantial professional experience, and methodologically-sound research. My clients reflect the communities in my vicinity -- with a great deal of diversity in culture and cultural identity, religious background, age, education, occupation, and personal attributes. One of my strengths is the ability to work well with a broad range of people.
I specialize in areas that touch lives in many ways. I have a strong background in working with transition, including relationship struggles (home and work), grief & loss (personal and occupational), and personal dilemmas. I also work with people who experience depression and/or concern with substance abuse or dependence.
I strive to develop good working relationships with clients founded upon understanding why they contacted me, who they are, how they view things, and what would benefit them. Clients often describe me as perceptive and engaged. I utilize a broad range of clinical approaches to bring improvement to clients' lives.
