Life is too complicated not to need some help and support from time to time. I believe it takes a certain amount of bravery to recognize when we need help, and even more to seek it out. In order to provide the best possible support specific to you and your situation, I am most interested in getting to know you, your goals, and your expectations for therapy. I have a relaxed approach and have created a warm environment in which you can feel comfortable right away.
My approach includes a balance between understanding/processing your feelings, with actions-plans/skill-building. I find this to be the most effective approach for positive lasting change. I believe therapy is most helpful when it is used to improve life, not replace it.
I am a good listener who believes in people's ability for positive change. I want to help; it starts with getting to know you. Then together we find the most helpful path for reaching your goals. I am currently offering in person and telehealth sessions.
