My practice is founded on the principle that therapy is not about fixing something that is broken. You are not broken. People do not need to be fixed.
My approach is to collaborate with individuals (13+) and couples to identify strengths and increase resilience. The ultimate goal is for you to experience your authentic self and feel the safety and security that comes with being able to regulate your emotions and behavior when faced with feelings, situations and memories you once found overwhelming.
I have advanced training treating couples using an empirically-validated method of therapy called Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I am experienced in treating sex and love addiction, anxiety, depression and mid-life reassessment issues including career and relationship changes as well as treating adolescents 13 years-old and older.
