I am an independently licensed psychotherapist, and I help people to effectively manage anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns, using cognitive behavioral and psychodynamic techniques. My primary work is with adults, developing insight into the source of problems, identifying how core beliefs about the world and self might be hindering progress, and focusing on natural strengths to overcome these barriers with practical skills that generate sustainable change. I offer practical, straight-forward solutions to the barriers in clients' lives.
I offer individual therapy, couple's counseling, and life-coaching. Some of my specialties include treating or addressing: mood disorders; anxiety management; addiction and relapse prevention; anger management; conflict management; relationships & interpersonal skills; men’s issues; confidence building; and assertive communication/boundary-setting.
