I also am a board-certified, clinical neuropsychologist who provides neuropsychological evaluations. I do NOT provide evaluations for ADHD. My practice provides a safe space for people to explore and experience feelings that they have tended to avoid or may even be unaware of. Such unconscious feelings can trigger anxiety and self-defeating thoughts and behaviors.
Practicing experiencing such feelings (within and outside of the therapy session) can help the person show up as their authentic selves for themselves and in their important relationships.
