Discovering how your depression was created often provides for a powerful healing experience. One of my goals for you in therapy is to help you seek the truth about painful and often hidden emotional trauma that occurred in the past. Once your secrets are revealed and understood, you will become more prone to manifest depression- free, authentic behavior.
As your therapist, I will help to clarify your perceived vulnerabilities and assist you to meet your needs to change in a challenging environment. I can also intervene if you have resorted to abusing drugs or alcohol to dull the pain of that which has overwhelmed you emotionally. If indicated, I can help you with addiction recovery and medication assessment.
